Gender: Working with Young Women

The Working with Young Women Think Tank is run by Annie Edwards.
Annie is 25 and works for an organisation called Canaan Project, who support young women in Tower Hamlets. Annie is passionate about being from Essex, drinking tea with chocolate hobknobs, and believes weekends are for pyjamas. Annie is keen for women and girls everywhere to know their worth, and that they are seen and known by Jesus.

The ‘working with young women’ think tank aims to give practitioners space to reflect and learn together on the issues that are impacting young women and think and amplify, how our own practices and wider youth work thinking might develop and change as a response to that.
